The Marantz also offers superior music reproduction via a Pure Direct mode. The Marantz has plenty of power and is beautifully made and easy to use. Next-gen auto setup means that with the touch of a button, it can equalize all the settings better than most any person. The Knight 3s offer a richer mid-bass and better integration with the subwoofer as well as more full-range music reproduction. The Marantz SR5006 has a more power and more finesse with music. It also features the most advanced auto setup. The Knight 5s are nearly full-range speakers and get our vote for the best floorstander under $2500. They have the ability to play very loud, but still are supremely natural and non-fatiguing. The REL sub is the next level in dynamics, providing true deep bass with no boomy overtones. There isn't a real theatre out there that can outperform this combo when setup ideally.
